Skilled Nursing

thumb-imgRegistered Nurses, LVNs, and LPNs are deployed at home to manage, supervise, and implement skilled services for patients with diagnosed chronic illness, diseases, and complex health conditions. They also help physicians in arriving at decisions to augment the plan of care and make adjustments that will be beneficial to the patient’s current state of health.

Skilled Nursing services make up for the medical part of our program. They play a crucial role in preventing the early need for institutionalization and the recurrence of hospital confinements that come at risk with unguided and unfacilitated home placement.

The skilled services performed by a skilled nurse is inclusive of Wound and Ostomy Care, Respiratory Care, IV Treatments, Incontinence Management, Pain and Symptom Management, Disease Management, and Patient Education among others. They also help supervise the administration of other skilled services provided by a Home Health Aide.
